Systems & Network Administrator

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
•The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for managing the day to day operation of the company’s computer IT systems.
TASKS
System administration activities may include but are not limited to:
•Systems installation, configuration, management and administration of Windows-based systems (Windows 2003 Servers, Antivirus Server, Firewall Server, desktop machines)
•Installation / disposal of hardware peripherals (printers, desktops, scanners, etc)
•Maintenance of software systems thru regular patches and updates
•Performance management - monitor system performance, tuning, failure analysis and recovery
•Data management - data backup and recovery
•Security management - virus, spyware, threat control and intrusion detection
•Troubleshooting and user support - email, internet, password/account management, and other applications
•Local Area Network management
•Documentation of systems & procedures
•Study, recommend and evaluate best software or hardware for procurement as needed by the management for internal or client use.
•Provide policies and procedures related to Information and Computer Systems
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
•Male or Female. Must be at least 25 to 30 years.
•Must be a Bachelor’s Degree Graduate of Computer Science or IT related course
•Minimum 2 years solid Systems Administration experience (Windows Environment)
•Work experience in various Windows-based software
•Work experience in TCP/IP, Networks, Domains, Firewall setup
•Proficient in written and oral communication (English).
•Preferably a Microsoft Certified Professional or similar industry certifications
