FINANCIAL REPORTING MANAGER for MAKATI CLIENT, DIRECT HIRE (high 5-digit basic salary, 6-digit performance bonus, car benefit, w/ healthcare and insurance benefit)
Manages the month-end and year-end closing activities which include the timely reconciliation of all accounts
Ensures adoption of Phil. Accounting Standards and Phil. Financial Reporting Standards in the Company’s reporting.
Prepares and submits periodic reporting packages and other reportorial requirements to Corporate and Regional HQs.
Ensures accurate, complete, proper and timely compliance to statutory requirements i.e. BIR, SEC, etc.
Plans, organizes and manages year-end external financial audits (which includes preparation of year-end financial statements along with its notes and disclosures) and tax audits performed by the BIR
Implements business process improvements
Responsible for establishing internal controls and ensuring adherence to them
JOB SPECIFICATION
Knowledge :Knowledgeable on current accounting and financial reporting standards; conversant with SEC and BIR regulations; and has hands-on experience in ERP systems preferably in SAP
Skills/Abilities :Strong leadership skills; has the ability to deal with people at all levels in a confident and professional manner; keen eye for details; analytical, well-organized; fluent in written and spoken English
Attitude :Quick-thinker; able to work and contribute effectively to a team; high-degree of work values and ethics; innovative; proactive; assertive; focused on continuous improvement; manifests sense of ownership on tasks and responsibilities; and takes a creative approach to problem-solving
Education:Graduate of Bachelor of Science, Major in Accounting
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Experience:With at least 2 years experience as an Accounting or Finance Manager of a multinational company or at least 4 years experience as an Audit Supervisor of an auditing firm.
