Sr. Network Support Specialists

Minimum Requirements:
Graduate of Math, Science, or any IT-related course
0-3 years (for Band A)/3-5 years (for Band B) work experience preferably with Telco or IT (Supporting or managing large scale IP Networks)
Training in PM, ITSM, InfoSec, Business Admin, & Quality
Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
Handles projects/incidents with medium to high complexity; Provides guidance to Network Engineer and Network Administrator; Possesses Advanced to Master technical proficiency levels in Network Technologies and ITIL processes
Manages configuration items and handles them according to status (New, Active, Inactive, For Decommissioning, For Redeployment, For Retirement)
Prepares Enrollment form for new CI’s or Change Requests for status change of CI’s to maintain clean CMDB/Inventory
Validates the Communications resource requirements (e.g. Network components, Bandwidth) of new Products and Services as gathered by the Network Planning team
Recommends to the Network Planning team any upgrade requirements that are necessary to ensure availability of Network Infrastructure for current and planned ISG and Business Units’ projects
Performs the installation, network acceptance testing, and cutover of network elements for expansion or roll-out type projects within time and scope
