Senior C++ Programmers (P)

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Participates in the development of all small software projects and may occasionally participate in medium and/or large-scale projects with the following tasks:
• With functional, detailed and object specifications or order modification forms
• Design, document, and run unit tests
• Develop software projects and run units tests in compliance with programming rules and methods
• Ensure the correction of software defects and the implementation of requests for enhancements in compliance with qualify procedures for projects in the validation phase
• Build the project folder in compliance with quality procedures
2. Verifies requests on daily run of build and report compilations or build errors
3. Works on products for validation, qualification, and release with the following tasks;
• Qualification of incidents on support’s request
• Repair/fixing of software defects
• Participation in return on experience process and proposition of enhancements
4. Ensures a reporting to the Project Leader on matters related to the progress of software development projects, such as, but not limited to, project delivery date, project work status, pending issues, quality objectives, and other possible non-project related activities
5. Complies with agreed delays and costs
6. Participates in the quality system improvement by proposing new methods and tools that may be applied
7. Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time
8. Directly reports to the Project Leader
9. Willing to go through a training in Europe
Qualifications:
1. At least 4 years of related experience in software development
2. Development experience within the Windows environment in Visual C++ and knowledge in MFC
3. Expertise in relational database (Oracle / MS SQL Server)
4. Practical experience of SQL requests design/tuning and use of ODBC/ADO interfaces for SQL access are differentiating factors
5. Knowledge of Visual.net / C# and Web services is a plus
6. Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills
7. Ability to work independently and proactively
8. Demonstrated skill in organizing, maintaining files management and record keeping
9. Ability to travel to other countries as necessary
